Haveli
A major attraction at Chokhi Dhani is the Shekhawati
Haveli Suites. These luxury dwellings speak of
a local history and culture. Shekhawati is a region
in Rajasthan which was known for its colorful
forts on an otherwise barren area.

Shekhawati means 'garden of Shekha', Rao Shekha
was the ruler of this region and the region is
named after him. The forts of Shekhawati were
known for there artistic creations -intricate
carving, heavy mirror work and frescoes narrating
stories adorned the walls, gateways, windows and
facades of these forts. Thus they were bestowed
with the sobriquet of an open air art gallery.
At Chokhi Dhani we have tried to recreate the
grandeur of the Shekhawati forts though it is
difficult to infuse that golden old richness but
they strongly reflect on the rich cultural heritage
of this region. These Haveli suites help one to
revisit the glorious past of the Kings and gives
